Annelie’s photo-art in Nature Re-emerged captures her emotions and experiences when the heavy smog that shrouded Chiang Mai for months finally cleared with the first rain. Colors, contours, shapes and textures re-emerged. Nature returned, and with it came a profound sense of loss and appreciation for what had been taken from us. 

I create these photo-art images without the use of computer software. Instead I use my past photographs printed on vellum or transparency paper, and combine them on a light box.

The final result is then captured as a photograph.
