Adaptation to the FLW Stairs

In Chicago you can visit the “Rookery Office Building” where you can admire the wrought iron spiral staircase designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright (see my photos in the photo series ‘Staircase to Heaven’). My photo montages in this series are inspired by his spiral staircase. On FLW designed white marble steps in my photos of the original spiral staircase, I laid out enlargements from photos of tapestries, paintings or murals. This resulted in the photomontages below.
