Calligraffiti

In one of the courses I took during the covid epidemic, I was instructed to use writing in montages.
Since I make montages of photos taken before, I had to search my photo archive for photos of texts. I had more of that than I first thought. Such as characters used in advertising, on walls, and signboards, in works of art or on banknotes. I used closeups of it in combination with prints of other photos. Sometimes to indicate a contradiction, sometimes to emphasise more coherence.
