Edges to be Noticed
During my beach walks in Australia during my covid stuck period, I passed the gullies of swamp water flowing into the sea without paying attention to it first. At low tide I jumped over it and at high tide I waded through it.
Photography, however, teaches you to look. Only then did I notice the edges of the gullies. Sharp or soft, jagged and round, it gives a whole different dimension to your hike. Simple things can be so beautiful.
The color palette changed with the time of day, blue in the morning light and brown orange in the evening light. The cause for those colours is the tannin released by ‘Tea Trees’ that are often found on the Australian coast.
